* Before First Use: Rinse the Moka pot thoroughly and brew three "test" coffees, discarding them to properly season the aluminium.

* Cleaning: Handwash only. Use only warm water. Never use soap or abrasive sponges to protect the seasoning and the vibrant cobalt blue finish.

* Drying: Always dry all parts completely with a soft cloth before reassembling to prevent oxidation.

* Safety: Periodically check the patented safety valve to ensure it moves freely.

This model is made of traditional aluminium and is not natively compatible with induction hobs. To use it on induction, you will need to use a Bialetti Induction Adapter Plate.

Is this dishwasher safe? faNo. To preserve the artisan lemon illustrations and the cobalt blue finish, this product must be handwashed only with warm water. Soap and dishwashers will damage the aluminium and the decorative coating.

This Moka pot has a 3-cup capacity, which produces approximately 130ml of rich, concentrated authentic Italian espresso. In Italy, a "cup" refers to a small espresso serving (approx. 40-50ml).

For the best results, use a medium-fine grind specifically labeled for Moka pots (like our Perfetto Moka). Avoid "Espresso" grinds intended for pump machines, as they are too fine and can block the filter.

You will hear a characteristic bubbling or "gurgling" sound. Once the upper chamber is filled and the sound stops, remove it from the heat immediately to avoid burning the coffee and to preserve the cobalt blue exterior.

Yes, it is perfectly suited for gas hobs. Ensure the flame does not extend beyond the edge of the base to prevent the sun-yellow handle from overheating and to protect the artisan lemon graphics from direct flame damage.
